What measurements do I need before ordering cabinets?

For accurate cabinet fitting, you'll need:

  • Wall-to-wall dimensions
  • Floor-to-ceiling height
  • Location of utilities (plumbing, electrical outlets)
  • Window and door measurements
  • Appliance dimensions

How much space should I leave between cabinets? 

For optimal installation:

  • 1/8 inch between cabinet boxes
  • /16 inch for filler strips
  • 2 inches minimum from walls for door clearance

Product-Specific Installation

What's included with my LK Cabinets purchase? 

Each cabinet comes with:

  • Flat-packed cabinet box- Door(s) and drawer fronts
  • Hardware package (hinges, screws)
  • Installation instructions
  • Adjustable shelving (where applicable)

Are your cabinets pre-assembled? 

Our cabinets come flat-packed to ensure safe and efficient shipping. However, we offer an assembly service for an additional fee, plus shipping. This option provides you with ready-to-install cabinets upon delivery. Please note that assembled products are non-refundable.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

What if my cabinet doors aren't aligned? 

Our cabinets feature adjustable hinges that allow for:

  • Up/down adjustment
  • Left/right alignment
  • Forward/backward positioning

How do I handle uneven walls? 

We recommend:

  • Using shims during installation
  • Installing a level mounting rail
  • Adjusting door hinges as needed

Care and Maintenance

How should I clean my cabinets? 

For both Ice White Woodex and Dove Grey finishes:

  • Use a soft, damp cloth
  • Avoid harsh chemicals
  • Wipe spills immediately
  • Use approved cabinet cleaners only
